So the idea is to create a cheap robot that can be modified later. How? By building up on the base design. the core functionality needs to be "fluid", "dynamic", "omnifunctional". The software needs to be smart, sentient of sorts it should understand some functions while also be capable of understanding new data or design changes while at the same time be compatible with older hardware.
So I started to design the Smart Omnifunctional Dynamic Automaton or S.O.D.A. I wasted a few hours thinking what to name it and how to name the robot appropriately, because it's made of coke cans. And I chose coke cans because they fit the "cheap" model I had planned and also because they are (relatively) structural sound. Should the project get some recognition I would think about changing the design, as I already have a few sketches for a sleeker version.
Anyway I decided to write this blog as a sort of testament to my project and also as any reference for myself later should the project sprout wings and fly.
